Telex SS-2002RMDual-Channel Rackmount Speaker Station
The SS-2002RM is the rack-and-desk version of Telex's dual-channel intercom speaker station. It gives an operator switch-selectable access to either of two intercom channels and can be worked open with the built-in four-watt speaker and a panel or gooseneck microphone, or on a headset when the room is loud. A backlit channel-select switch reads at a glance, lighting green for channel one and red for channel two.
Loop-through connections use 6-pin XLR connectors so the station drops into the two-wire line without breaking it, and a balanced/unbalanced switch sets it for Audiocom or Clear-Com plants. It accepts an MCP-90 series electret gooseneck for hands-free talk and works momentary (push-to-talk) at the mic. The RM chassis sits on a desk or mounts in a rack with the RM-14 kit.
