Telex/RTS BP-325 Binaural Beltpack (Black)
The BP-325 is a two-channel binaural beltpack for RTS two-wire party-line systems, finished here in black. Binaural means each ear hears a different channel, so an operator can keep program in one ear and the director in the other and still talk back on either one. Independent talk, listen, and volume controls for both channels put the whole mix under the user's thumb, and a call function lets them send or receive a call signal, with a call light on the pack to flag an incoming alert.
The pack is programmable and microprocessor-controlled, with a microphone-kill detect circuit, and it is powered externally from the intercom line on channel one. It works with a dynamic microphone only, not electret, and offers both a 4-pin (A4F) and 5-pin (A5F) XLR headset connector plus a quarter-inch phone jack for carbon-mic headsets. A 3-pin male/female XLR loop-through daisy-chains the next pack down the line. Telex part number F.01U.118.528.
