Telex US-2002 User Station
The US-2002 is a two-channel intercom user and main station for a fixed operator position that needs selective access to two channels. Separate Listen, Call, and Talk buttons with Digi-Latch latching give full control over who hears whom, and Remote Mic Kill silences any open mic on the channel. Balanced audio transmission keeps speech clean over long cable runs, while an external balanced/unbalanced selector switch drops the station into Clear-Com-compatible systems.
The front panel carries a dynamic-mic headset jack (XLR-4M) and a 1/4-inch locking gooseneck jack; the rear adds four XLR-3 channel connectors, a DB-9F program input with level control, a stereo PA output, and RCA jacks. A 3.5 mm rear data link chains the station to EMS-4001 or ES-4000A expansion stations for access to as many as 18 channels. The station requires a separate party-line power supply such as the PS-2001L.
