Telex MCP-90-12 12" Gooseneck Mic Back-Electret Condenser Gooseneck Microphone

The MCP-90-12 is a 12-inch back-electret gooseneck microphone built to mount on a keypanel or speaker station and put a talker's voice cleanly onto an intercom line. The back-electret element gives it more sensitivity, wider response, and better immunity from handling noise than an ordinary diaphragm-electret mic, and the semi-rigid gooseneck holds its aim once you set it for close, hands-free talk.

It is phantom powered over a wide 1.5 to 9 VDC range and terminates in a threaded TRS male connector that mates with the standard threaded RTS female fitting on keypanels, Audiocom stations, and the SS-2002 speaker station. A removable windscreen adds pop filtering and overload protection. The 12-inch length suits a seated operator at a panel; the 18-inch MCP-90-18 reaches farther when the station sits lower or off to the side.
