Telex PH-88 Single-Muff Intercom Headset

The PH-88 is a super-lightweight single-sided intercom headset for operators who need one ear open to the room. A dynamic, noise-canceling boom microphone on a semi-rigid gooseneck holds its position once you set it, favoring the voice over stage wash and crowd noise. The wide-band dynamic earphone is covered in moleskin for a better seal, more isolation, and steadier response through a long shift.

The 300-ohm dynamic receiver and 200-ohm dynamic microphone match standard RTS, Audiocom, and Clear-Com beltpacks and stations. A 6-foot straight cord ends in an A4F 4-pin female connector, which mates with the male headset jack on an A4M beltpack such as the BP-6000 or with a user station's XLR-4M input. The whole headset weighs just 4.6 ounces.
