Telex TR-16 16-Channel Broadcast Wireless IFB Talent Receiver
The TR-16 is a belt-worn wireless IFB receiver that feeds program and cue audio to on-air talent through an earpiece. Sixteen frequency-agile, synthesized channels let a crew dodge interference and coordinate several receivers at once, and a lighted bezel makes channel selection easy in a dark studio or truck. A selectable HF boost lifts the high frequencies for clearer monitoring in noisy environments.
It operates in the 64 to 68 MHz band and runs up to 20 hours on two standard AA alkaline batteries, with reliable range past 750 feet. A standard 1/8-inch output drives IFB earpieces and earphones from 8 to 500 ohms, and audio response runs 100 Hz to 10 kHz for clean voice cueing.
