Telex/RTS BP-325 Two-Channel Binaural Beltpack (Gray)
The BP-325 is a two-channel binaural beltpack for RTS two-wire intercom systems, finished here in gray. Binaural means the wearer hears channel 1 in one ear and channel 2 in the other, so a camera operator or stage manager can keep a director cue and a program channel separated instead of piled into a mono earpiece. Each channel gets its own talk, listen, and volume control, and a built-in call light plus audible call alert flags when someone signals the pack. The design is programmable and microprocessor-controlled, with mic-kill detect that responds to a partyline kill signal.
The pack loops through the intercom line on 3-pin male and female XLR connectors, so several packs daisy-chain along one run and draw power from the system supply on channel one. It works with a separate dynamic or carbon microphone only, not electret capsules. The headset side offers both a stereo A5F connection and a mono A4F connection, letting the same pack drive a dual-channel binaural headset or a single-channel headset as the job requires.
