Yamaha BR Series Passive Loudspeaker

The Yamaha BR series is a line of rugged, affordable passive loudspeakers for schools, houses of worship, and working bands that supply their own power amps. Each two-way cabinet pairs a cone woofer with a 1-inch titanium-diaphragm horn tweeter, and the carpet-covered plywood enclosure is built to survive load-ins and storage.

The range covers both roles: the BR10, BR12, and BR15 are full-range tops that pole-mount or stand on a stage, while the BR12M and BR15M are trapezoidal floor monitors angled for stage wedge use. All models are 8-ohm designs with dual 1/4-inch jacks for daisy-chaining, so a pair of tops and a wedge share the same simple wiring.
