Yamaha CXS XLF Series Passive Subwoofer

CXS XLF are the passive subwoofers that sit under a CZR or DZR system. Both are bass-reflex cabinets with a ferrite-magnet cone on a 4-inch voice coil, and both reach into the low thirties: 33 Hz for the 15-inch, 32 Hz for the 18-inch, measured at -10 dB in passive mode.

The connector panel carries three Speakon NL4MP jacks, two paralleled and one dedicated output, so a sub can pass the amplifier feed up to the tops without extra cabling. Enclosures are plywood with polyurea coating in black or white, with aluminium die-cast side handles, a 35 mm pole socket plus an M20 threaded socket on top, and matching SPCVR-DXS15X and SPCVR-DXS18X covers and the SPW-1 caster set listed as options.
