Yamaha Concert Club V Passive Subwoofer
The CW cabinets extend a Concert Club V install down to the bottom two octaves. They are bass-reflex passive subwoofers built to be crossed over at 90 Hz with a 12 dB per octave slope, which is the filter setting Yamaha specifies and the number to dial into the system processor or amplifier.
CW115V is a single 15-inch cone rated 500 W program with a 35 Hz low corner, CW118V uses an 18-inch driver for a 30 Hz corner and 600 W program, and CW218V loads two 18-inch cones into one 4-ohm cabinet for 1,200 W program and 98 dB sensitivity. Each takes two 1/4-inch phone jacks and two Neutrik Speakon NL4MP connectors wired in parallel, so a sub position can feed the tops above it without a separate home run.
