Shure MX202B C

The MX202B/C is a Microflex overhead condenser built to hang or stand above a stage, choir, or conference table and stay out of sight while it works. This version pairs a cardioid cartridge, which favors the source below it and rejects sound from the sides, with the black (B) finish and an in-line preamp that terminates in a standard XLR connector. A four-inch flexible gooseneck lets you aim the capsule exactly where the sound is.

The cartridge is interchangeable, so the same mic can be re-tasked with a supercardioid or mini-shotgun capsule as a room's needs change. A 30 ft cable runs from the capsule to the preamp, and the mic runs on 11-52V phantom power. A stand-mount adapter is included for podium or floor-stand use in addition to overhead hanging.
