Shure MX202W AS

The MX202W-A/S is a Microflex overhead condenser for hanging above choirs, stages, and theatrical productions where the mic should disappear. This version carries a supercardioid mini-condenser cartridge on a short flexible gooseneck, and its white finish blends into a light ceiling. Because the Microflex cartridge is interchangeable, the same mic can be fitted with a cardioid or mini-shotgun element as the room demands.

A 30-foot cable runs down to an in-line preamp with a 3-pin XLR output, keeping the electronics out of sight above the performers, and a stand-mount adapter is included for cases where the mic is mounted rather than hung. It is a fixed-charge condenser and draws phantom power from the mixer or console.
