Shure AD2/K9B

The AD2/K9B is the handheld transmitter for Shure's Axient Digital platform, the company's flagship professional wireless. This version carries the KSM9 dual-pattern cartridge, a premium condenser that switches between cardioid and supercardioid so an engineer can match the pattern to the stage, and it wears the low-reflectivity black finish for broadcast and theater. Axient Digital delivers reference-grade audio with the wide tuning and dense channel counts demanded by touring, network television, and large-scale worship.

Selectable RF output of 2, 10, or 35 mW lets you trade range for channel count, and two transmission modes, Standard and High-Density, cover everything from maximum coverage to the highest system counts in crowded RF. Wide tuning of up to 184 MHz, AES-256 encryption for secure transmission, and a low-profile lockable power switch round out the feature set, while external contacts allow docked charging alongside the two included AA batteries. It is offered in the G57, K54, and X55 bands, and ships with a microphone clip, zippered bag, two AA batteries, and a user guide.
