Shure AD2KSM8B
The Shure AD2/KSM8B is a handheld wireless transmitter for Axient Digital systems, fitted with the KSM8 Dualdyne cartridge in a black finish. The KSM8 is the first dual-diaphragm dynamic vocal capsule: an active and a passive diaphragm work together to virtually eliminate proximity effect, so a voice keeps the same tonal balance whether the singer works in close or backs off the grille. The result is the clarity and even response of a condenser from a rugged dynamic element, with a natural, nearly flat 40 to 16,000 Hz character.
Standard and High Density transmission modes let the AD2/KSM8B chase either the widest coverage or the highest channel count in a packed spectrum, and 256-bit AES encryption keeps the signal private. Durable metal construction and a low-profile lockable power switch handle nightly use, while power comes from two AA batteries or the SB900B rechargeable lithium-ion pack with external contacts for docked charging. It ships in G57 (470-616 MHz), K54 (606-663 MHz), or X55 (941-960 MHz) tuning bands with a microphone clip, zipper bag, two AA batteries, and a user guide.
