Shure AD2KSM8N
The AD2/KSM8N is the handheld transmitter for Shure's Axient Digital wireless platform, fitted with the KSM8 Dualdyne cartridge in a nickel finish. That capsule is a dual-diaphragm cardioid dynamic: a second, passive rear diaphragm tames proximity effect so a singer can work in close without the low-end buildup a single-diaphragm mic pushes, and the cardioid pattern keeps monitors and PA out of the mix. Electrically and in tuning it matches the AD2/KSM8B; only the nickel body sets it apart.
It tunes across a wide window and runs in Standard mode for maximum coverage or High Density mode for more channels in a crowded RF space. RF output is switchable at 2, 10, and 35 mW, and a Shure lithium-ion rechargeable battery delivers more than 11 hours of run time, or about 8 hours on AA cells at 10 mW. It ships in the frequency band you order: G57 (470-616 MHz), K54 (606-663 MHz), or X55 (941-960 MHz).
