Shure AD2/B58
The AD2/B58 is a handheld wireless transmitter for Shure Axient Digital systems, topped with the BETA 58A supercardioid dynamic cartridge that is a fixture on live vocal stages. The supercardioid pattern tightens rejection at the sides and rear for high gain before feedback, and the dynamic capsule shrugs off high stage levels while keeping handling noise low. Axient Digital carries that signal with wide tuning up to 184 MHz, selectable modulation modes, and encrypted transmission, so the mic stays clean even in dense RF.
Selectable RF output of 2, 10, or 35 mW lets you trade range for channel count, and two transmission modes, Standard and High Density, let you push maximum simultaneous channels when spectrum is tight. It runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries at 10 mW, and it ships in G57 (470-616 MHz), K54 (606-663 MHz), or X55 (941-960 MHz) tuning bands with a microphone clip, zipper bag, two AA batteries, and a user guide.
