Shure RPW184

The Shure RPW184 is a factory replacement cartridge for wireless KSM9 handheld microphones. It carries the KSM9 dual-diaphragm condenser element, packaged with the housing assembly and matte grille as one drop-in unit so a wireless KSM9 mic can be re-capped to its original performance. The KSM9 is Shure's premium vocal condenser, capturing subtle detail and articulation for demanding live vocal work, and this cartridge preserves its switchable dual-pattern design.

The element offers both cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns, letting an engineer trade a wider pickup for tighter feedback rejection to suit the room. Shure wireless handheld cartridges are electrically and mechanically interchangeable, so the RPW184 mounts on compatible Shure handheld transmitters that accept the KSM9 capsule. It is supplied as the cartridge, housing, and matte black grille assembly.
