Shure RPW118

The RPW118 is Shure's factory replacement cartridge that turns a Shure wireless handheld transmitter into a Beta 58A. It is the complete acoustic front end: the supercardioid dynamic capsule, its housing assembly, and the matte grille all in one screw-on unit, so a worn, dropped, or dented head can be renewed to Beta 58A performance without replacing the whole transmitter.

The Beta 58A element brings a brightened midrange presence peak tuned for vocals and a tight supercardioid pattern that rejects off-axis sound to control feedback and monitor bleed on a loud stage. It threads onto compatible Shure wireless transmitters in place of the existing cartridge.
