HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 115 Sub A Active 15 inch Subwoofer

The LINEAR 5 MK II 115 Sub A is the compact subwoofer of the LINEAR 5 system: a single 15-inch cone driver on a 3-inch voice coil in a bass reflex cabinet, driven by a 600 W RMS, 1200 W peak Class D amplifier. It reaches 44 Hz at -6 dB and produces 127 dB average and 130 dB peak, which is the right amount of low end under a pair of 112 or 115 tops without becoming a two-person carry at 72.5 pounds.

Two XLR/jack combo inputs and two XLR outputs let it sit inline between console and tops, with a separate DSP output for a processed feed and Ethercon in and out for network control across the rig. The DSP preamplifier runs at 48 kHz with under 2 ms latency and provides a ten-band parametric EQ with variable filter characteristics plus RMS and peak limiting. Mains is an IEC connector with V-lock, accepting 100 to 240 V.
