HK Audio LINEAR 9 118 Sub BA Active Bandpass Subwoofer

The LINEAR 9 118 Sub BA is the low-frequency anchor of the LINEAR 9 series, a dual-vented bandpass enclosure built around a single 18-inch cone driver on a 4-inch voice coil. Biamped Class D power delivers 1,100 W RMS, reaching 134 dB average and 136 dB peak with response down to 31 Hz. It works standalone or as the low-frequency extension for a full-range LINEAR 9 rig.

The DSP preamplifier runs a 96 kHz parametric 10-band EQ with variable filter shaping, low-pass filtering, polarity, level, delay, limiting, and mute, at under 2.6 ms latency. Connections cover two XLR/jack combo inputs, two XLR outputs, dual Ethercon RJ45 for networked control, and dual Powercon NAC3 power in/thru. The birch plywood cabinet in PU-coated jet black rides on two M20 pole mounts and eight MultiGrip handles, and weighs 140 pounds.
