HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 115 XA Active 15 inch Loudspeaker

The LINEAR 5 MK II 115 XA is the largest full-range cabinet in the LINEAR 5 MK II line. A 15-inch cone driver on a 3-inch voice coil crosses at 1.6 kHz to a 1-inch compression driver with a 1.7-inch voice coil, on a rotatable constant directivity horn set to 70 by 50 degrees. Biamped Class D power of 600 W RMS and 1200 W peak takes it to 130 dB average and 138 dB peak, with response down to 64 Hz.

The narrower pattern makes it the model to choose for longer rooms where an 80 by 60 cabinet would put too much energy into the side walls. Connections run through the DSP preamplifier: an XLR/jack combo input, an analog XLR through, a separate DSP output, and an Ethercon network port for system control. The IEC inlet has a V-lock safety catch and accepts 100 to 240 V. The cabinet weighs 60.8 pounds.
