HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 118 Sub A Active Subwoofer

The LINEAR 5 MK II 118 Sub A is the solid foundation of the LINEAR 5 MK II system, an active bass-reflex subwoofer built around an 18-inch cone driver on a 4-inch voice coil in a birch plywood cabinet. Class D power runs 1,000 W RMS and 2,000 W peak, reaching 129 dB average and 131 dB peak with response down to 38 Hz. Cardioid configuration presets let it be deployed for tighter low-end pattern control in 2.1 rigs or full stacks.

The DSP preamplifier runs a 48 kHz parametric 10-band EQ at under 2 ms latency, with MILAN digital audio transmission support. Connections cover two XLR/jack combo inputs, two XLR outputs, and Ethercon RJ45 networking, powered through an IEC inlet with V-lock safety catch. It mounts on an M20 pole and weighs 91.7 pounds.
