HK Audio LINEAR 7 115 FA Active 15 inch Loudspeaker

The LINEAR 7 115 FA is the network-capable full-range fifteen in the LINEAR 7 range. A 15-inch cone driver on a 3-inch voice coil meets a 1-inch compression driver with a 1.7-inch coil on a rotatable constant directivity horn, crossed low at 1.5 kHz behind a tight 60 by 40 degree pattern. Class D biamped power peaks at 2000 W for 134 dB peak, and the extended cabinet volume takes response down to 57 Hz.

A bass boost preset developed for this cabinet lifts the low end when the rig runs without subwoofers. Control is over MILAN digital audio transmission with Ethercon RJ45 in and out, a 96 kHz DSP with under 2.6 ms latency, a parametric 10-band EQ, delay, polarity and limiters, all reachable from HK Audio DSP CONTROL on Windows or Mac. Connections are a Powercon NAC3 inlet, XLR/jack combo input, XLR output and a separate DSP output. The hybrid birch plywood and MDF cabinet weighs 70.5 pounds.
