VigilLink VLCT-4PSPC 4-Port Network Serial Port Expander

The VLCT-4PSPC gives a central control system four extended serial ports it can address over IP. Projectors, displays, matrix switchers, and older AV gear that only speak RS-232 stay where they are; the expander sits near them and carries their traffic back to the controller over Ethernet.

It accepts commands over RS-232 or the network interface, and each port can be configured for the baud rate and framing its device expects. Front panel LEDs show power and per-port data activity, which makes a dead link obvious without a laptop and a terminal session.
