Telex SS-2002U Two-Channel Intercom Speaker Station
The SS-2002 is a two-channel RTS speaker station that gives a fixed position full send-and-receive access to either of two intercom channels without tying up a headset. A backlit channel-select switch chooses the channel, and backlit front-panel keys handle Talk, Call, Listen, Speaker, and Panel Mic so the station reads clearly in a dim control room or stage wing. The talk key works in both push-to-talk and hands-free latching modes, and a 4-watt speaker plus a built-in electret panel mic make it usable with no accessories at all.
This U-box version is designed for permanent in-wall mounting, connecting to the line through simplified 3-pin XLR loop-through connectors so it drops into an existing two-wire run. Internal DIP switches and a sidetone trim tune the station to the system, the panel-mic key can switch from the built-in electret to an optional gooseneck, and the whole station runs on 24 VDC phantom power from the line. A headset can be used in place of the speaker and panel mic when the position needs quiet operation.
