Hiwatt DR20/0.5 Combo 1x12 - The Little Rig

The DR20/0.5 combo, which Hiwatt calls the Little Rig, runs the same preamp and tonestack as the DR103 and DR504 into a 20-watt output section that switches down to half a watt, loaded with a 12-inch Custom Hiwatt Fane F75.

Twenty watts breaks up at recording and club volume; half a watt does the same thing in a green room. The linked input circuit is the one famously modded for Pink Floyd, pushing more signal at the first preamp valve for a fuller, more forward sound, and the Normal and Brilliant channels cover dark and bright pickups. A Fane Purpleback 150 is offered as a speaker upgrade.
