Chauvet DJ Kinta FX ILS
The Kinta FX ILS packs the three effects a small mobile rig actually uses into one 3.8 lb box. The Kinta section runs four high-power LEDs - red, green, blue and white, 7.5W - through a faceted lens that throws a room full of sharp multicolored beams across a 118-degree spread. A red-and-green laser layer adds hundreds of fine aerial beams for haze work, and sixteen white SMD LEDs handle strobe duty and chases at up to 20 Hz.
All three run independently or together. Control comes from DMX at 2 or 9 channels over 3-pin XLR, master/slave, the digital display for stand-alone use, or the optional IRC-6 handheld; add a D-Fi USB dongle and the same control goes wireless. At 25W it power-links seventeen units on a 120V circuit, so a run of them across a truss costs almost nothing in current. It measures 7.4 x 10.3 x 7.4 inches.
