Chauvet DJ Kinta HP Kinta HP Throws Thousands of Fine Multicolored Beams
Kinta HP throws thousands of fine multicolored beams from a compact housing. The unusual part is the emitter pairing: one quad-color LED is RGBW and the other is CMYO, cyan, magenta, yellow and orange, so the two sets of beams produce color combinations that a pair of matched RGBW emitters cannot.
The motor rotates continuously rather than stepping between positions, and both speed and rotation are adjustable so the effect can be slowed for a dinner or driven hard for a dance floor. Coverage is 118 degrees at 10 W per LED, with strobe to 20 Hz. The digital display sets color and rotation speed with no DMX attached, and built-in automated and sound-active programs run in master/slave. Control is 3 or 12 channel DMX over 3-pin XLR, and 16 units power link at 120 V.
