Chauvet DJ LED Shadow 2 ILS Black Light

The LED Shadow 2 ILS is a black light built to do more than sit in a corner glowing. Eighteen 3W UV LEDs at 405 nm cover a 32-degree spread from a slim 2.2-inch-deep bar, and the built-in automated programs offer sectional control - individual groups of LEDs chase and fade rather than the whole fixture switching on and off, which turns a UV wash into an actual effect for a glow party or a themed set.

Dimming curves are built in for smooth fades, and the strobe runs to 20 Hz. Control is 4 or 8 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR, master/slave, or the optional IRC-6 remote; ILS compatibility means it takes cues from a GigBAR or other ILS fixture, and a D-Fi USB dongle makes any of that wireless. It draws 49W, links eleven units on a 120V circuit, and weighs 6 lb.
