Blackmagic Teranex AV
The Teranex AV is a broadcast standards converter built for live production and pro AV, with 1,089 up, down, cross and standards conversions for all formats up to 2160p60. Its patented algorithms process millions of pixels at once, both across the frame and between frames, to hold picture quality through format and frame rate changes including 3:2 cadence removal and insertion. Latency runs as low as 67 ms, low enough for live event switching.
Connections cover 12G-SDI and Quad Link SDI that can be used at the same time, HDMI 2.0a in, loop and out, XLR and HiFi RCA audio, and BNC reference in and out. A still store holds logos and graphics, a live freeze frame is available, and conversions retain timecode, closed captions and other ancillary data with 16 channels of audio. The chassis is 1U and less than 5 inches deep.
