Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G
The Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G brings a broadcast camera or any SDI source onto a SMPTE ST-2110 IP network over a single 10G Ethernet link. It is bidirectional in one small box: the 12G-SDI connection carries SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60 into the IP fabric, while the return path handles the SDI program feed back to the camera. Blackmagic's IP10 codec does the 12G-SDI to 10G 2110 conversion, and multi-rate SDI auto-detects HD, Ultra HD and 4K so you rarely touch a menu.
A 5-pin XLR talkback headset connection puts the camera operator on channels 15/16 with volume up, volume down and a push-to-talk button on the front. The unit connects and powers over the 10G RJ-45 from PoE++, or from the included +12V DC universal supply, so it drops into a rack or clips to a camera without a separate power run. In the box are the converter and a plug-pack power supply with universal adaptor plugs.
