Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G SFP
The Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G SFP bridges traditional SDI cameras into a SMPTE-2110 IP video network, sending signals over long optical fiber runs instead of copper. Its 12G-SDI connection carries SD, HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60, and it handles the SDI program return path so the camera operator still sees the line feed. The SFP socket accepts 10G Ethernet, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI or 12G-SDI optical modules, letting you match the converter to the fiber already run at the venue.
Because it is bidirectional, a single Mini both places a camera feed on the 2110 network and returns program video to the camera position. A 5-pin XLR talkback headset connection with a volume control and a press-to-talk button keeps the operator on the intercom, and the unit ships with its own power supply so it is ready to deploy at the camera.
