Blackmagic Teranex HDMI to SDI 12G Converter

The Teranex Mini HDMI to SDI 12G converts an HDMI source into 12G-SDI, giving a consumer camera, computer or game console a professional SDI path. It works across SD, HD, 6G and 12G-SDI rates and includes an up converter that lifts HD sources to Ultra HD. Two 12G-SDI outputs automatically match the incoming HDMI format, so the same box can feed a monitor and a recorder at once.

Audio and timecode embed from balanced analog XLR or AES/EBU digital inputs, with the right XLR switchable to a timecode input. This is the common tool for putting an HDMI camera or laptop into an SDI router, switcher or deck. It uses the standard Teranex Mini chassis and works with the optional Rack Shelf and Smart Panel.
