Audio-Technica ATUC-50INT Interpretation Unit
The ATUC-50INT shares its body with the standard ATUC-50DU discussion unit, but its firmware is built specifically for interpreters: an alphanumeric LED display and four buttons let the interpreter pick an incoming language on the left and an outgoing language on the right, while the middle two buttons toggle between language selection and headphone volume. It works with either the wired ATUC-50 or the ATUC-IR hybrid infrared system and can sit anywhere in the chain without a dedicated cable run.
Relayed interpretation lets an interpreter listen to the floor language or to another interpreter's output, which matters when a session moves through more than one relay language before reaching the audience. Up to two ATUC-50INT units can be assigned per language, for a maximum of six interpretation units and up to three simultaneous interpreted languages on one system. A 3-pin XLRF input accepts the ATUC-M43H, ATUC-M58H, or ATUC-M32L microphones for tabletop or recessed mounting.
