Audio-Technica ATUC-VU Voting Unit
The ATUC-VU adds electronic voting to an ATUC-50 or ATUC-IR discussion system without any extra wiring: it plugs directly into the RJ-11 extension terminal on an ATUC-50DUa discussion unit, which also supplies its power, so a delegate seat becomes a polling station the moment the voting unit is attached. Five buttons, each with its own status LED, cover typical vote options (yes/no/abstain and beyond), and every button and LED can be reprogrammed from the system's IP Control software to fit the vote at hand.
An NFC card reader on the unit can log a delegate's ID at the moment they vote, with results transmitted to an external control PC over IP Control for tallying and recordkeeping. Up to 300 voting units can be used on a single system when three control units are linked together, which makes the ATUC-VU practical for anything from a small board vote to a large assembly roll call.
