The ATUC-M58H is the long gooseneck in Audio-Technica's ATUC range, a Hypercardioid fixed-charge condenser on a neck that reaches further across a table than the M43H. It is the one to specify where delegates sit back from the microphone position or where papers and laptops push the unit away from the talker.

Response runs 100 - 15,000Hz, band-limited to speech. The head carries a double-layer pop filter and a remote-controlled LED ring driven by the discussion unit, so mute state is visible from across the room, and it terminates in a 3-pin XLRM-type connector. It weighs 92 g.
