Audio-Technica ATUC-M43H Hypercardioid Condenser Gooseneck Microphone
The ATUC-M43H is the mid-length gooseneck microphone for Audio-Technica's ATUC discussion units: a Hypercardioid fixed-charge condenser on a 446 mm (17.56") neck with a 20 mm head. The hypercardioid pattern is the reason to choose it over the line cardioid - it narrows the pickup around one delegate, which is what keeps a full table of open seats from turning into feedback.
Response runs 100 - 15,000Hz, deliberately band-limited to speech so it does not pass HVAC rumble or sibilance the room does not need. A double-layer pop filter handles plosives at close range, a remote-controlled LED ring shows the room which seat is live, and the mic terminates in a 3-pin XLRM-type connector. It weighs 82 g.
