Audio-Technica ATUC-IRD IR Distributor
The ATUC-IRD is a compact, wall- or ceiling-mountable distributor used to daisy-chain ATUC-IRA infrared antennas on an ATUC-IR hybrid discussion system. It takes one incoming BNC feed and splits it to two SEP outputs, so a room that needs more infrared antenna coverage than a single control unit output provides can expand without adding another control unit.
Up to twelve ATUC-IRD distributors can be chained together, taking a system from a base of four antennas up to sixteen for larger or more acoustically difficult rooms. The distributor passes power as well as signal over its 75-ohm BNC connections (rated to 48V, 1A max), so downstream antennas stay powered through the chain, and its bracket mounts flush to a wall or ceiling for a clean installation.
