Vaddio AV Bridge

The AV Bridge is a room-based HD media streaming appliance that brings professional cameras, mixers and audio into the digital domain. It emulates a standard USB webcam and microphone with UVC and UAC drivers, so a room's AV system can drive PC conferencing software like Skype, Microsoft Lync or Google without custom drivers, while a built-in H.264 encoder handles IP streaming for lecture capture, worship services and content delivery. Both paths are open-standards, so integration with existing network infrastructure and media players stays straightforward.

Three switchable video inputs cover HDMI/DVI-D, YPbPr or RGBHV and composite, alongside a stereo audio pair selectable between balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA line inputs. IP streaming reaches 1080p/30 over H.264 with AAC audio; USB 2.0 delivers up to 720p/30 MJPEG with PCM audio. Configuration is handled from an embedded web server or the front-panel menu. In the box: the AV Bridge encoder, a pair of 1RU rack ears, an 18 VDC 2.75 A power supply and cord, a 6 ft USB 2.0 cable, rubber feet, and an installation and user guide.
