Vaddio EasyUSB MicPOD I/O Microphone Interface
The EasyUSB MicPOD I/O is the box that turns Vaddio's EasyMic microphones into a working room system. Microphones connect to it, it runs the echo cancellation against a line-level balanced reference taken from the room's program audio, and the conditioned result goes out to the host. That reference input is the part installers care about: without it the canceller has nothing to subtract, and the far end hears the room's own speakers coming back.
Audio performance is 20 Hz to 20 kHz, THD plus noise under 0.02%, and better than 90 dB of dynamic range. Microphone cabling runs up to 100 ft (30 m). The chassis is 8.38 in wide, 6.0 in deep and 1.72 in high at 1.4 lbs (0.6 kg), and draws up to 40 W. Rated 32 to 104 degrees F (0 to 40 C) at 10 to 80% non-condensing humidity.
