Telex 4010 Central IFB Station
The 4010 is the central electronics station at the heart of an RTS 4000 Series IFB system. It carries all of the control functions, audio routing, and line power needed to link the 4001, 4002, and 4003 director control panels to the 4030 and IFB-325 user stations out at the talent. This is the box that lets a director in the booth cut program audio to an anchor's earpiece and talk over it the instant a cue is needed, then hand program back without a beat missed.
Each IFB channel carries two distinct audio sends with individual level control, and silent program-select switches change sources without a click reaching air. The station mounts in a standard 19-inch rack at 1RU and is built to sit at the center of a broadcast or live-event comms rack. Telex part number F.01U.391.598.
