Telex/RTS CES-2 IFB Earset

The CES-2 is a complete IFB earset, the single-ear receiver an on-camera anchor or talent wears so the control room can feed program and cues straight into one ear. It ships ready to work: the kit bundles the RTV-04 receiver tube, a CMT-98 transducer, and an ET-4 eartip, so there is nothing else to buy to put a person on IFB.

A 5-foot cord terminates in a 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) plug that drops into an IFB receiver or belt station, and the 125-ohm element is matched for clear speech monitoring in the ear. It is the standard earset for broadcast IFB, sized to disappear under a broadcast setup while keeping the talent locked to the booth.
