Telex 40302-CH IFB Beltpack
The Model 4030 is a portable two-channel listening station for RTS and Telex two-wire and 4010 IFB systems. It is a listen-only IFB beltpack: a talent or crew member wears it to monitor one or two program or intercom channels without ever keying a microphone back into the line. Separate volume controls for channel 1 and channel 2 let the wearer balance a director cue against a program feed, and connection-status indicator lights confirm the pack is live on the line.
Power and audio arrive on a single XLR-3F connector, with pin 1 common, pin 2 carrying channel 1 audio and power, and pin 3 carrying channel 2 audio. The earset plugs into a 1/4-inch jack that accepts either a monaural plug for single-channel listening or a stereo plug that splits channel 1 and channel 2 to left and right. It is a fixed-install and mobile favorite for IFB feeds in broadcast, film, and live production.
