Telex/RTS BP-4000 Single-Channel Universal Beltpack (A4F Connector)
The BP-4000 is a one-channel portable beltpack user station for wired party-line intercom. Its mode-sensing configuration reads the system it is plugged into and sets itself up for an RTS, Audiocom, or Clear-Com party line automatically, so a single beltpack stocks for every format a crew runs. Auto-sensing headset inputs accept either dynamic or electret microphones with no jumper change, and a programmable TALK button can be set to always on, always off, switched, or momentary to suit each operator.
This A4F version carries a 4-pin female XLR headset connector, and 3-pin male and female XLR jacks let packs loop-through and daisy-chain down one line. A reduced current draw lets more packs run from a single supply, while Remote Mic Kill silences every open mic on the channel to hold down background noise and voice prompts walk you through setup. It runs on 18-33 VDC delivered over the party-line, drawing up to 52 mA.
