Telex IC-6SX Source Assignment Panel Passive Source Assignment / Routing Panel
The IC-6SX is a passive source assignment panel that routes any of six intercom channels to any of twelve positions, turning a rack of front-panel slide switches into a fast, silent patch bay. Because it is entirely passive it adds no noise and needs no power, so audio for beltpacks, remote stations, and other wired components can be combined or isolated in any pattern simply by moving a switch.
Inputs and outputs are on standard 3-pin XLR connectors, and an expansion connector lets a second IC-6SX join the first for a total of twenty-four outputs. It occupies a single rack unit in a 19-inch rack, and the balanced audio path means it can also route non-intercom sources when a job calls for quick, tool-free switching.
