Telex/RTS BP-5000 Two-Channel Universal Beltpack (A5F Connector)

The BP-5000 is a two-channel universal beltpack that reads the two-wire system it is plugged into and configures itself to match, whether that line is RTS, Audiocom, or Clear-Com. That single capability lets one pack move between rental jobs and mixed-vendor installs without swapping hardware or flipping mode switches. Enhanced talk-button control and a remote mic-kill function round out the operator experience, and any user can send an inaudible kill signal that instantly mutes every open mic on the partyline when someone leaves a channel hot.

This version terminates in a 5-pin female XLR (A5F) headset connector and supports both dynamic and electret headset microphones, so it drives binaural stereo headsets as well as single-channel models. The pack loops through the line on 3-pin male and female XLR connectors for daisy-chaining, and up to 40 beltpacks can run from a single PS-20 power supply. Each channel is fed 18 to 33 VDC and the pack is rated for operation from 32 to 131 degrees F.
