Sennheiser CA6042DC

The CA 6042 DC is a DC input cable for the Sennheiser EK 6042, the two-channel portable camera receiver in the 6000 series. It lets the receiver draw from an external DC power supply instead of its internal batteries, which is useful on long shoots, cart-based rigs, or any setup where you want the receiver powered continuously without swapping cells. A Hirose connector carries the DC feed into the receiver.

This is a power accessory rather than an audio cable, so it passes no signal, only the DC supply that keeps the receiver running. Putting it to use also calls for the GA 6024 BP back-panel adapter, which mounts on the receiver and is sold separately.
