Sennheiser GA 6042-15 Sub-D Camera Adapter

The GA 6042-15 is the 15-pin Sub-D (DB-15) adapter that lets Sennheiser's EK 6042 two-channel receiver slot into and interface with Sony broadcast cameras. Where those cameras expect a Sony-standard DB-15 wireless slot, this adapter provides the mechanical mount and the electrical hand-off so the EK 6042 sits in the slot and passes its two channels of audio and power the way the camera expects.

Beyond Sony camera bodies it also fits the Sound Devices SL-6 SuperSlot receiver panel, making it the standard piece for anyone integrating an EK 6042 into a slot-in workflow. The kit ships with the adapter, its bottom plate, and the mounting screws, and carries Sennheiser article number 506213.
