Sennheiser GA6042BP

The GA 6042 BP is the backpanel adapter that turns Sennheiser's EK 6042 slot-in receiver into a stand-alone unit. Instead of riding in a camera slot, the receiver drops into this rugged holster, which breaks out the audio and power the EK 6042 needs to work from a bag or feed a mixing console. It is the piece that lets a two-channel camera receiver double as a bag-mounted or fixed receiver on set.

The adapter provides two 5-pin XLR outputs, a main out that can be switched between analog and digital and an analog-only aux out, plus a Hirose connector for external power. To run it from a battery distribution system you add the CA 6042 DC power cable. It measures 150 by 108 by 33 mm and weighs about 292 g, and carries Sennheiser article number 506214.
