Martin Audio SXC115 15" Cardioid Subwoofer

SXC115 gets cardioid low end out of one box instead of the usual three-cabinet array. A 15" ferrite driver fires forward and a 12" neodymium driver fires rearward, each on its own amplifier channel, so the rear lobe cancels and the stage, the back wall and the neighbours stay quiet while the audience gets 137dB peak.

Both cones are waterproof treated and the enclosure is multi-laminate birch ply with a textured black finish and a HEX-perforated steel grille. Skids on the base mate with channels on the top for stacking, there is an M20 pole-mount plate on top, bar handles on both sides, sixteen M10 mounting points and sixteen M8 inserts for optional castors. Response runs to 44Hz within 3dB with a -10dB point at 36Hz.
